This policy summarises the return, refund and complaint rules applicable to purchases from the Piotr Zylbert Music online store. It should be read together with the full Terms & Conditions.
1. 14-day statutory right of withdrawal
If you are a Consumer or another buyer entitled to consumer-like protection under applicable law, you may withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days without giving a reason, subject to the legal exceptions described below.
The 14-day period generally starts on the day you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the goods. If an order is delivered in separate parts, the period starts when the final item, lot or part is received.

2. How to return the goods
After notifying us that you are withdrawing from the purchase, please send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us.

For an ordinary change-of-mind withdrawal, the customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are responsible only for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
3. Refunds
Where a valid withdrawal applies, we refund:
- the price paid for the returned goods; and
- the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us for the original order.
We do not have to refund additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method.
Refunds are made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your withdrawal.
Unless we have offered to collect the goods, we may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or until you provide proof that you sent them back, whichever occurs first.
The refund is normally made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree to another method. You will not be charged a refund fee by us.
For card payments, refunds are made to the account linked to the card used for the transaction.
4. Sealed CDs and other exceptions
The statutory right of withdrawal is subject to exceptions provided by law.
In particular, sealed audio or video recordings cannot be returned under the 14-day statutory withdrawal right once their sealed packaging has been opened after delivery.
This is especially relevant to Piotr Zylbert Music physical CDs.
Other statutory exceptions may include, among others:
- goods made to a customer’s individual specifications or clearly personalised for that customer;
- goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- sealed hygiene-sensitive goods after opening;
- goods inseparably combined with other items after delivery.
These exceptions do not limit any rights you may have if the product is defective or not in conformity with the contract.
5. Damaged, defective or incorrect items
If an item arrives damaged, is defective, is not in conformity with the contract, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible:

Complaints are handled separately from ordinary change-of-mind returns.
We respond to complaints within 14 days of receiving them.
Where goods are legally required to be repaired or replaced because they are not in conformity with the contract, the Seller bears the cost of collecting or returning the goods in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or withdrawal from the contract.
